Hello! I am Katie and I make things!

I have a BSc. in Environmental studies, so I’m not just a maker of pretty things, but that is what I enjoy doing the most!

I do of course do my best to be environmentally conscious, and whenever possible use sustainable packaging, and upcycled materials. It’s not easy, and it’s not always affordable for everyone, but a little re-using, and creativity can breath so much new life into things! I love it. It also feeds into my charity shop habit which I 100% blame my mother, grandmother and aunties for. My childhood of being dragged around to antique stores huffing with rolled eyes, has begrudgingly become something I actually enjoy, much to my husband’s dismay.

Space also tends to be an issue, our house barely fits us and our lanky greyhound (see my page dedicated to Niamh HERE) so basic logistics does not always allow for the crafty endeavours that I yearn to attempt. So I simply do my best with what I have, which is all anyone can do really!

Basically, I’m just really glad that you’re here and that you’re interested in some of the makes I have to share with you. I hope you enjoy what you find, and that you buy loads of my stuff!
